We are fortunate enough to have met most of the team which has made our experience a happy one, with no issues or complications to date. So far my experience with Long Island Homes has been exceptional .Team Leader / Client Liaison Executive Kim Wilson has exceeded my expectations of providing customer service.  Kim responds to my emails with the correct information in a timely manner, always courteous, helpful and displays a professional manner in her dealings. No question has gone left without a reasonable explanation in a way that we can clearly understand. No question is too big or small, she considers all worthy of answering each and everyone and always with a smile. Tone of voice is a clear indicator of this. Dealing with Kim gives me confidence that Long Island Homes will deliver what they promise.  She is passionate about her work loyal and just enjoys helping others achieve their dreams. She understands and takes pride. She deals with difficult situations constructively whilst still maintaining her calm. She is easy going and very delightful to deal with. Well done in having such an asset as part of the team.
I believe that she is truly a valuable asset to the company and worth every cent if not more. I would consider giving her pay rise if I could.lol..Someone like her is hard to come across. I have dealt with many people in my time and Kim is a rare find. It’s almost Christmas so, share the spirit , maybe  a pay rise is possible. lol. Go on  Make a miracle happen for someone who deserves it. They all do  but  I don’t want to send you broke, not before you finish our house at least..lol..So far everything has gone to plan.
Our site supervisor David is brilliant he makes sure that my build is on time and accurate. We had our First  site inspection with David on Friday..all questions were answered. All concerns were immediately attended to by way  of David making  a phone call while I was there ensuring contractors dealt with my concerns.. I have confidence that the build is being constructed in accordance to the building regulations. David has been doing an exceptional job at ensuring all materials are available for contractors to commence work when scheduled. His communication and organizational skills are excellent . So far everything has gone to plan. All is on schedule. Progress has exceeded our expectations. We are very lucky to have a site supervisor who is as competent as David. Ken Johnstone our Interior Designer, he made what is suppose to be the most stress full time  the most enjoyable one, our selection process was fun and  far  from stressful. We are pleased with our outcome. I should really say  I’m happy with the outcome lol Ken was a pleasure to deal with, very understanding, knowledgeable  and helpful. I think he deserves a gold medal for having to put up with indecisive clients everyday .I had a head ache thinking of it  imagine what he has to go through,,lol..he loves what he does and that what makes him special and a crucial part of the team. He is a blessing, I  could not have achieved a great colour scheme without him. I’m glad he could be my eyes , because I’m sooooo colour blind, I could not put things together as well as he could…lol..The sub-contractors (I have met every one of them) up to brick work .I believe they are of the highest quality.
We have nothing but praise for all of you .It is our pleasure to recommend Long Island Homes to anyone who will take the time out to listen, and who can differentiate between quality verses quantity.  We look forward to the final outcome.…………..Thank you once again for making the impossible possible”

Ok, so where do I start?

I wanted to send you a huge thank you from myself, Jodie and Max for building us such a ‘stunning’ house.

It looks absolutely ‘Outstanding’, better than what we ever hoped….Jodie is particularly thrilled. I am just as thrilled that I don’t have to hear about ‘Moving in before Xmas anymore!!!!)

From the early days when Jodie and I (no Max at this stage) were going form display home to display, getting to the point where we were going to give up we walked into the Sansarra Display at Point Cook and said ‘Yep’ this is the one…Well, Jodie’s smile spoke a thousand words and from that day on it was always the home we were going to build.

From the beginning it was enjoyable working alongside you as your incredible knowledge of the ‘building a home’ business, couple with your instinctive flair made life very easy for the 1st home builder. I specifically remember the conversation that Jodie and I had on the way home after the initial discussion we had with you on viewing the property for the first time; we both came to the conclusion that to build a ‘Perfect’ home, you must deal with someone who ‘Love’ homes, that you do…the simple things that others miss, you don’t….the attention to detail that other don’t have, you do.

Craig, everybody in your team deserves the recognition of delivering such a quality house, as there are many  stages within the lifecycle which need to be complete so delivery can be made. Thank you to Hannah for her help and advice in the colour selection, to Jenna for all the ‘hard’ phone calls during the initial stages, to Danny for his reassurances that ‘stop stressing, Xmas delivery will be ok”, to Filomena for being so patient on the phone and Kim for her efficiency in tidying up some loose ends….and Dakota for the fences…jeez, they put them up quickly these days!

Craig, I have left Ryan last as a special mention must go to him for being our Site Manager. Ryan’s easy going approach coupled with his professionalism allows him to deliver with high efficiency and surprising diligence. As a client, I was looking for professionalism, transparency, efficiency, friendliness, understanding and prompt results – he showed the sort of commitment that makes your ‘company’ successful and ‘put on the map’ and has a genuine desire to do the right thing by his clients and company alike. If, I mean ‘when’ we build again (Jodie has her eye on the Cocos) I will be asking for Ryan to be our site Manager…I will also recommend him to other people, who, when seeing our house and asking who we built through. His, yours and Long Islands name will be the first 3 (or 5) words muttered out of my mouth.

Anyway, will send you some pics through once we have the backyard done.
